We are proud to announce our ISO 9001 standard certification renewal from ISO 9001:2008 to the newly revised standard, ISO 9001:2015. This was a joint achievement with Head Office (Dukinfield), Aberdeen, Singapore, Houston and Perth and followed months of rigorous examination of our processes and performance relating to leadership, risk management, and satisfying customer requirements. This prestigious certification is a true testament to our dedication to the highest levels of quality management, customer satisfaction and further strengthens our commitment to our customers.
ISO 9001 is the world’s most widely recognized quality management standard and helps organisations such as ours, to meet the expectations and needs of customers and ensure our Quality Management System is integrated with and aligned to our organisation’s objectives. By achieving this level of certification we continue to demonstrate our ability and desire to effectively and efficiently provide a quality management system while continuously improving our products and services as well as our internal processes.
One of the first challenges of ISO 9001:2015 we encountered was the introduction of the ‘risk-based approach’……………but it proved to be an interesting exercise that involved all senior management and sales teams by carrying out a PESTLE and SWOT analysis enabling us to identify, manage, monitor and reduce the compliance risks key to our business.
Sometimes it is easier to ‘start all over again’ rather than make changes to a system that has worked well for several years, but we learnt a lot from this transition process and this knowledge gives us the tools to carry out the transition to ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001.
