Special Piping Materials\u2019 Singapore<\/a> office is nearly 20 years old, having been established in 2004.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The team has a 30,000 sq. ft warehouse and works with clients across Asia where it is known as one of the foremost distributors of duplex, super duplex, nickel alloys and other exotic piping materials in South East Asia.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Steve Chee is the General Manager of Special Piping Materials in Singapore and he has a very experienced and knowledgeable team who support him.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Working in an essential role in the warehouse is Warehouse Storeman Ivan Teo Chee Siang who has been with SPM since 2019. He works hard to ensure customer orders are packed and shipped efficiently.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

  1. How long have you worked with SPM<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I have worked with SPM for 3 years, I joined the team in October 2019.<\/p>\n

    1. Can you give us an overview of your career so far?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      I was working in the same line as a storeman for another company when I saw the opportunity to move to Special Piping Materials and was lucky enough to secure the role.<\/p>\n

      1. What\u2019s your favourite (and least favourite) day-to-day task?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        My favourite day-to-day task is packing customer orders, my least favourite task is putting back items to stock when customers cancel or change items!<\/p>\n

        1. What made you want to work for SPM?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          It\u2019s a good working environment with supportive colleagues who guide me and help each other out every day.<\/p>\n

          1. What is your focus at the moment in your role?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            To make no mistakes and be as efficient as possible when we are preparing each order.<\/p>\n

            1. What does a typical \u2018day in the office\u2019 look like? <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Double-checking on customers\u2019 items, re-arranging stock and tidying up the warehouse \u2013 it\u2019s a busy place to be!<\/p>\n

                    I like to go fishing with my friends!<\/p>\n

                      I would like to choose the SPM office in Texas, I would like to experience the weather in the USA and explore new places too.<\/p>\n
